Jordan River
About us
Our spot brings a story rooted in heritage into a modern café setting. Inspired by the land of Jordan, where the first bread known to history was baked, the concept connects origin, craft, and everyday gathering with a clear point of view.
The menu reflects that balance, with authentic, from-scratch baked goods made with traditional ingredients. Open-faced sourdough sandwiches, pastries, hummus, and labneh all speak to a Middle Eastern identity that feels thoughtful and current.
Warm wood tones, natural light, and an overall polished touch create a setting that feels bright by day and cozy as the light shifts. The result is a place shaped by tradition, coffee culture, and a welcoming rhythm that suits a quick stop, a relaxed meal, or time spent lingering a little longer.
Concept Story
From the First Bread on Earth
From the oldest bread in history... to your table today.
More than 14,000 years ago, on the land of Jordan, humans baked the first bread known to history-made from wild grains and simple fire, before agriculture... and before cities.
Today, we bring this story back to life with a modern spirit and thoughtfully crafted flavors that honor the origin and celebrate our roots.
Jordan River Kitchen & Cafe is more than a cafe-it is a continuation of a story that began here, on this land.
The meaning behind our logo
The mark brings together two worlds the Latin initials 'J' and 'R' from Jordan River, flowing naturally into a form that also reads as 'نهر ' (nahr), the Arabic word for river. It's a symbol that bridges languages and cultures, a visual connection between East and West, tradition and modernity, just like the Jordan River itself.
